Erin Belieu is the author of five poetry collections, all from Copper Canyon Press. Her poems have appeared in places such as the Academy of American Poet’s Poem-A-Day, American Poetry Review, the Atlantic, Kenyon Review, New Yorker, the New York Times, Poetry, Tin House, Slate, Yale Review, and her poems have been selected for multiple appearances in the Best American Poetry anthology series. Belieu is a full professor teaching in the University of Houston's Creative Writing Program. She is the co founder of VIDA: Women In Literary Arts, and founder of the literary resistance network Writers Resist.
